Ustad Rais Khan (Urdu: رئیس خان‎‎; 25 November 1939 – 6 May 2017) was a Pakistani sitarist from Karachi, Pakistan.^[1] He was regarded as 'one of the greatest sitar players of all times'.^[2][3] He continued to perform until the end of his life.^[4] In 2017, Khan was awarded Pakistan's third highest civilian honour, the Sitara-i-Imtiaz.
